Dress Code & Etiquette
Acceptable dress for course & club
Neat casual dress must be worn. Golfers are asked to change out of wet or muddy clothing and make sure golf shoes are clean.
Club Management and staff, Club Professional and Pro-Shop staff are responsible for ensuring members and visitors clothing is appropriate on course, practice areas and in the Clubhouse.
Player conduct & etiquette
Show considerations for other players – keep up with the group in front.
Allow the group behind through if you lose a fairway and they are waiting behind you (frequently on tee off areas)
Don’t disturb other players during play by talking, moving, shouting or making unnecessary noise.
Shout ‘Fore’ if a ball is played and there is danger of hitting someone.
Players teeing off the 16th hole have the right of way, so players moving from the 11th hole should give way.
Players teeing off the 18th hole have right of way.
If a ball lands on a different fairway, others playing that fairway have right of way.
Always mark your ball with a distinctive personal mark. Check that the ball you are to hit is yours.
Do not pick up stray balls; they might have been hit from another fairway.
Carry a full sand bucket and replace all divots on fairways.
Repair your lob marks on the green.
Rake bunkers when you are finished and place the rake outside the bunker laying flat on the ground and parallel to the direction of play
Place your rubbish, especially cigarette butts in bins provided and NOT in the sand bins or carts.
