Code of Conduct
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to provide members, guests and visitors with guidance on the standards of behaviour that are expected of them while they are on Club premises. This will ensure that everyone can use the amenities provided by the Club in a safe, enjoyable and responsible manner. This Code of Conduct also applies to members representing the Club in any capacity at another venue.
Members, guests and visitors shall:
Respect the rights of others to enjoy Club facilities and services.
Follow all instructions given by Club Management and/or Directors.
Refrain from behaving in any way that may damage the reputation of the Club as a family-friendly environment.
Adhere to commonly accepted standards of golfing etiquette and sportsmanship as well as the Rules of Golf and any Local Rules.
Treat members, guests and visitors fairly, equally and with respect, interact with each other and with the employees in a courteous manner and not engage in behaviour towards anyone that is abusive or harassing or that undermines the health or wellbeing of employees and other members, guests and visitors.
Refrain from verbal or physical threats to others, either in person or through social media or otherwise.
Refrain from disorderly or disruptive behaviours. Obscene and/or offensive language, gestures or insults will not be tolerated.
Refrain from wearing obscene and/or offensive clothing.
Comply with club policies, signage and lawful directions of employees, including within the clubhouse and associated facilities, and on the golf course. This includes directions by employees pursuant to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) regulations.
Behave in a manner conducive to the enjoyment of the Club’s facilities for all persons.
Members and visitors will be deemed to have accepted this Code of Conduct by attending the Club’s premises and may obtain a copy of the Code for their own reference from the Club office or download here.
The Code of Conduct is actively monitored by the Club and applies at all times when members, guests and visitors are on Club premises or using Club facilities. If a breach of the Code occurs or is brought to the attention of the Club’s authorised officers or employees, the Club through its authorised officers and employees may initiate disciplinary action which may include refusal of entry, a verbal or written warning, withdrawal of certain privileges, and suspension or termination of membership (if applicable). Any such disciplinary action will be in accordance with the Club’s Constitution, including the provision of natural justice.
