Disc Golf Course Rules

The following guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the Marrickville Golf Club ‘Code of Conduct’.

  1. Disc golfers must give right-of-way to golfers. Disc golfers will let golfers play through, and look out for golfers teeing off when crossing fairways.

  2. Disc golfers agree to not throw more than one tee shot per hole. This is the etiquette of the course, as MGC is busy and maintaining pace of play with golfers is essential.

  3. The maximum group size for disc golf is 3 players.

  4. Disc golfers must abide by the Marrickville Golf Club Code of Conduct.

  5. Disc golfers must not tee off on a par 3 until the hole is completed by the group ahead.

  6. Any property damaged is at the disc golfer's own risk.

  7. Disc golfers must respect the golfers, dog walkers and other uses of the facility. Disc golfers must be especially aware of holes that border the walking path.

  8. Spotting is required on the uphill holes 6 and 8.

  9. All golf greens, sand bunkers, roads, Cook’s river, clubhouse, parking areas, perimeter fences, walls and garden beds are out of bounds, with standard OB rules applying.

Failure to comply with these rules can result in players being banned by MGC from the course.
