About Marrickville Golf, Sporting & Community Club
Welcome to Our Community
Situated proudly in the heart of the Inner West, our club is more than just a golf course – it's a testament to unity and inclusivity. As we stand on the ancestral lands of the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora Nation, we pay tribute to their rich heritage and history.
Diversity thrives within our community, where inclusivity, care, and progressiveness are at the forefront. Here, everyone is welcomed with open arms, fostering a harmonious balance between people and nature.
Nestled in a unique pocket of the Inner West, our club offers more than just golf. It's sanctuary for leisurely walks and a place where various groups peacefully coexist.
For the golfers, our facilities include practice nets, putting greens, and a chipping hole, catering to enthusiasts of all skill levels. And for everyone, our clubhouse boasts a community-focused environment, complete with a bar, cafe, and bistro, catering to diverse needs and preferences.
Join us in celebrating the spirit of community and recreation at our welcoming club!
A Note from the Club Captains
“We welcome golfers of all standards, from beginners to more advanced golfers.”
Dane Jones
Club Captain, Marrickville Golf, Sporting & Community Club.
It is my honour as Captain of Marrickville Golf, Sporting, & Community Club to welcome you. I have only been involved with the club for approximately 10 years. In that time I have seen many changes with the most significant being an attitude to accepting and embracing all members of our community.
You will find the club an oasis for golf, recreational walking, dog walking and hopefully soon Disc Golf. We also have a great restaurant so you can also indulge in local pub style cuisine throughout the week or you can just sit on the deck and have a drink with friends.
I hope to see you in the near future.
“From novices to seasoned players, we welcome all golfers and provide both a convivial sport and a friendly environment for all members.”
Amanda Beaven
Women’s Club Captain, Marrickville Golf, Sporting & Community Club.
If you want to spend a few hours once or twice a week enjoying a pleasant walk in the company of other women who value exercise and sport, then Marrickville Golf, Sporting & Community Club is the club to join.
The women’s club also enters teams in local competitions where members can experience playing on other golf courses to broaden their golfing ability. Social interaction after the round of golf is as important to us as the sport so come and enjoy our company.
